Rationale

Motion to Revise Clause 9.6.3 and Fig. 1.41, A1.42, AND A1.43 Rational: 1. Recently approved revisions to text in Section 8.5.4 created consistent language related to slides. The revised text in clause 9.6.3 also brings language consistency in the use of ‘slide exit clearance zone’ as described in clause 8.5.6.1. 2. Figure A1.27 in 1487-25 was editorially revised to include a height for the slide exit clearance zone. The proposed text revision states that this height applies to the slide exit clearance zone. 3. The current text only references parallel and converging slide exit clearance zones. This revised text and improved figures were updated to also include diverging slide exit clearance zones. 4. Revises Note at top of Fig A1.41, A1.42, and A1.43. This is editorial in nature as it does not change its meaning but instead specifically references the related clauses.
