Rationale

Item 1 - We want to consider using the EN ISO 11393 Calibration Pad Construction to replace our ASTM F1414 6 Layer Lincoln Fabric Constructed pads. The rationale is material availability in the future for the Lincoln Fabric post 2027. We want to create a equivalency between these two pad constructions and eventually move to the ENGTEX EUROPEAN version . In order to do so we will have Modern headwear and UL RTP conduct a series for tests and determine if we can equate cut values from these two pad contructions. Further details will be presented on the testing that will be proposed to the SUB-COMMITTEE and to the Chainsaw Protection Task Group .
