Rationale

C404 section 6 is Deleterious Substances and section 7 is Organic Impurities. In both C144 and C33 Organic Impurities is a sub section of Deleterious Substances. We propose making organic impurities a sub section of deleterious substances, renumbering section 7 as section 6.2, 6.2.1, 6.2.2, and 6.2.3 to be consistent with the form and style of C144 and C33. Section 6.1 currently has the allowable limits of deleterious substances in text. This ballot proposes to move these requirements into a table consistent with the style and form in C33 and ballot to make the same change in C144. No changes to the limits are made. In addition, we would change “weight” to the more correct “mass”.
