Rationale

This proposed revision to Practice C1074-19e1 involves the following: 1) Revisions to Section 8 on establishing the strength-maturity relationship to permit the use of specimens molded in the field; 2) permit using only one instrumented specimen to develop the strength-maturity relationship; 3) add additional information on the use of cubes because many countries use them rather than cylinders for standard strength testing; and 4) add explicit instructions on when to begin temperature recording.
