Rationale

Improving the definition of "cement-bonded particle board" to provide for greater clarity of the material constituents that industry standards recognize to characterize these materials with emphasis on identifying how these materials differ from and are not the same as fiber-reinforced cement. We are proposing this as the new definition: cement-bonded particle board, n—manufactured flat sheets of hydraulic cementitious matrices and wood particles.
