New Specification for Close-Fit Structural Composite Liner System for the Rehabilitation of Pressure Piping
1. Scope
This specification covers the materials and test requirements for a close-fit composite liner system consisting of three or more dissimilar layers of materials, with one or more of the layers being the load-carrying component while the inner and outer layers mainly provide low permeability and protection of the existing host pipe material against further degradation. The load-carrying component consists of various material types, including fiberglass, carbon, or other reinforcement fibers.
