Rationale

The Current thickness tolerances listed in table 2 acknowledge a need for different tolerances for metallic coated steels using hot rolled substrate. However, the allowances in Table 2 only consider thicknesses from 0.061" to 0.101". There are many hot strip mills globally that can produce material at lower thicknesses with the demonstrated capability below 0.024". This modification will continue the current format of acknowledging the hot rolled coated products while not impacting any current products covered by the specification.
