ASTM WK96747
In cases where density measurement is required and the geometry ratio falls outside the 1.8 to 2.2 range, and user follows Section 7.4.2 to determine density. Section 7.4.2 does not specify a precision requirement for length measurements. As a result, when this method is used, no dimensional precision constraint is currently enforced, even though the geometry falls outside the specified range. Removing " density determination is not required" from section 7.5, users no longer need to determine whether density is being measured or refer to other sections to decide if the precision requirement applies. Instead, the precision is applied uniformly across all cases.
