Rationale

During the May 2025 E61 committee meeting in Toronto, the E2232 standard was reviewed in its entirety. The standard was found to largely meet the needs of the intended audience, with a few noteworthy updates. The standard has been modernized, and several sections have been increased in scope, namely the discussion of dose, variance reduction, and uncertainty, among other topics.
