Many HDS make claims with respect to their light liquid, especially oil, removal/retention capabilities but there is no widely accepted standard test for verifying these claims. A test standard would be used by manufacturers to support their claims and could be used by verification organizations such as NJCAT and STEPP to provide independent verification of the results.
