Rationale

Standard C1222 requires a six month check of the Blaine apparatus with a reference standard. This is currently a note recommendation in C204. This ballot is to add this requirement into C204 to provide direction on how this check should take place. This was balloted several years ago and received a negative regarding the precision limit. The new ballot will re-state the precision value from Section 9 to be used in the check.
