Rationale

1. Since an equivalent to a Grade 5 equivalent nut larger than 1-1/2" does not exist in A553, A563 Grade B will be expanded to include nuts larger than 1-1/2". 2. Based on IFI Task Group TG 24-02 satisfactory test results and subsequent F16.02 Nut Task group meeting discussion, proof loads for oversize A563 Grade DH and DH3 Heavy Hex nuts will no longer be reduced. In this revision, Oversize DH and DH3 nuts will required to be tested to the same proof load as non-overtapped nuts.
