Rationale

The use of 'average cross sectional area” in Section 11.2 is somewhat ambiguous. It can and is being interpreted in two different ways. It can be interpreted as the average area for each individual specimen, or it can be interpreted as the overall average area of all the specimens combined. Language is being added to clarify that the average area for each individual specimen must be determined. Similarly, language is being added to Section 11.1 to clarify that the average width and height for each individual specimen must be determined.
