Rationale

This ballot is for the revision of ASTM D5769 to revise the sample preparation procedure. The proposed sample preparation procedure uses excessive sample and internal standard volume which is a disposal issue and safety hazard. The proposed sample preparation is a scaled down gravimetric based technique that will significantly decrease the volume of sample and internal standard required for this step.
