Rationale

The subcommittee C09.20 Aggregates has been made aware of multiple product categories that reference or specify C637 (and C638) for products other than radiation-shielding concrete. To better reflect the industry use of this standard, the title is being balloted to replace “radiation-shielding concrete” with the term “high-density concrete” and expanding the scope to include other applications outside of radiation-shielding concrete.
