Modify the figure A1.51 The dimensions are changed to be maximums. A smaller load distribution area would be more restrictive. This allows for a more stable distribution block on nonuniform loading surfaces. The thickness of the distribution block and strap length notes were removed as it does not affect the load distribution. Note 1 regarding rigid material was removed as it is unnecessary that the distribution block be rigid.
