Rationale

Give more prescriptive details about the image analysis method (using defined terminology) for obtaining relevant and typical particle analysis results. Include more detailed description of sample preparation for obtaining valid results. Run an ILS (#2023). Will be for D7879 update; will keep focus on flax fiber. Work will be to do an ILS using a new cellulosic fiber standard (still to be found). Then I/we incorporate the learning from the ILS round robin into D7879 update. Goal is to finish this by 11/30/2026.
