This revision corrects that inconsistency by reinforcing that only 10-gram samples are to be used. Additionally, while Note 6 refers to approximate volumes for convenience of estimating required masses, all internal standard additions, calibrations and sample preparation are performed by mass, as weighed on a balance. Commercial calibration standards are also provided in mass units. This revision clarifies the 10g sample requirement and aligns with mass for the available of calibration solutions.
