Rationale

This work item is to revise D8022-20 test method due for revision with addition in just terminology section. The Previous ballot item G02.G0(25-05) Item 002 received 1 one -ve with recommendation to conduct ILS before making changes in test method. This was discussed during December 9, 2025 meeting at Houston and found to be persuasive. As there is not enough time for completing ILS as proposed in previous ballot and method is due for revision, this ballot is being submitted to revise the method and get more time for ILS for proposed changes in the test method.
