1. Scope

This standard describes a procedure for the determination of Carbon, Hydrogen and Nitrogen (CHN) content in waste plastics using an Elementar Vario Cube analyzer or equivalent. The method is used to quantitate C, H, or N from <0.1 wt% to 99.9 wt%.
