Rationale

For consistency in E08 standards, the term “plastic-zone adjustment, rY” is being replaced by the new proposed term “plastic zone radius” based on the working group’s findings. The term “plastic-zone adjustment” will be removed from Section 3.3 (general definitions, listed with the standard(s) of origin) of E1823. Also note that this term was already removed from E561.
