Rationale

This ballot removes the “Gammon Technical Products Digital Meter” from the ASTM D3240 method. This instrument was introduced to this standard more than 5 years ago. The manufacturer has not provided a valid D6300 precision statement for the instrument. The motion to ballot was approved during the December 2024 ASTM meetings in Anaheim.
