Clarification to Adjusting PVIS Results Sequence IIIH Information Letter 24-1 Sequence Number 26 During the November 19, 2024, Sequence III Surveillance Panel meeting, the panel agreed that some clarification was needed to correct/adjust Percent Viscosity Increase (PVIS) results due to the application of a transformation to this parameter. As a result, a new section 12.4.4.1 has been added to the test method. Test Method D8111-23a has been revised to incorporate these changes and are effective with the issuance of this letter. The text of the revisions is shown in the attachment.
