The D02.14 WG for Fuel Cleanliness and Water Separation recognize the necessity of eliminating carcinogens (chromic acid in this case) from procedural practice. It’s proposed to submit a ballot to remove “(chromic acid wash) remains as the reference and alternate to cleaning practice” from D381 Section 11.1.1.
