When testing the Lap Seam Integrity of a self-adhered sheet with a rough surface, such as a granulated cap sheet, it is difficult to create a watertight seal between the bottom of the can and the rough surface. the task group agreed that the attachment of a note explaining the use of Plumber's Putty meeting Federal Spec. TT-P-1536A to create a sealable surface.
