This specification is needed to replicate the clogging that stormwater filtration media experiences in urban environments. The specification is intended to be used in addition to E3317-22 and can aid in determining mass load capacity, longevity, and maintenance needs of stormwater filtration media. Users of the standard include researchers, academia, and manufacturers. AHJs may also require the standard to demonstrate filtration media can meet the expected maintenance intervals and achieve the expected long-term performance.
