According to the manufacturer’s instruction manual for the D6890 combustion analyzer, verification/calibration of the mass of fuel injected is carried out after the injector nozzle opening pressure has been adjusted. D6890-22 Section 10.3 (Settings Based on Component Specifications) notifies the user about the need to carry out the Injector Nozzle Opening Pressure adjustment but it does not include any notification about the Fuel Mass per Injection adjustment. The revision proposed in this ballot will add a notification of the need to carry out the Fuel Mass per Injection adjustment to Section 10.3.
