Rationale

Changes have been approved to permit a 1400 HDB category at 73F, which PEX compounds could qualify for. If PEX compounds are pressure rated using a 1400 psi HDB, the requirements for doing so should be addressed in this standard. In previous work to revise F876 issues were identified that were beyond the scope of that project. Those issues can be addressed in this project which has a wider scope.
