ASTM WK90950
3/8-inch stub nails are often used for the attachment of accessories and strip lath to solid bases. The standard should accommodate the practice. Quantifying a specific length fastener will mitigate the potential for spalling of masonry block edges because it will preclude the use of over-long stub nails. ¾-inch-length fasteners are not permitted by the proposed language.
