Rationale

The absence of clear definitions for this commonly used term for reinforcement applications in the literature or the industry is problematic. The problem further compounds with the introduction of polymers with low strains and processes where metallic elements are processed to have high strains at working loads. We are using the definition AASHTO Task Force 27 (1990) provided as a base.
