The rationale for the revision of D6379-21e is to update the precision statement to satisfy the specification established in D1655 for aviation turbine fuel and to establish the between-method bias equation for the new precision of D1319. The new precision statement for aviation turbine fuels in D1319 will be obtained concurrently with the other standards analyzing total aromatics.
