ASTM WK89706
We would like to propose initial practice to sample and test the fresh properties by means of unconfined compressive tests and flow table tests. The practice is intended to define the design criteria for the additive construction process. This practice will allow contractors and engineers to know the material properties of materials used to produce components by means of additive construction during its fresh state. This practice will allow contractors to create correlations between the fresh mechanical performances of additive constructed concrete and mortars with printing parameters of the process. This practice will allow architects and engineers to have better understanding of the building components produced by additive construction and define requirements for utilizing additive construction technology. The principles in this practice will be applicable to additive construction concrete during its fresh state (0 to 120 min).
