It provides guidelines and recommendations for conducting manual facial comparisons, in support of the four identified facial comparison applications. This document does not address specific standard operating procedures for conducting facial comparisons, nor does it address specific training, documentation, or reporting requirements. This document does not address the use of facial recognition algorithms.
