Rationale

This work item covers the second proposed revision to D3878-23 upon completion of the “Hard Scrub” effort, where several recommended technical revisions were identified by our reviewers. The work item will revise the definitions for “braid”, “composite (material)”, “delamination”, “lay-up”, “matrix content”, “off-axis”, “principal material coordinate axes”, “sandwich construction”, “weave” and “wrinkle” and add a definition for “volatiles content”.
