Rationale

During the renewal of this item in 2023 the following comment was recieved: "Section 3 - Voter notes that this standard needs reapproval this calendar year to avoid automatic withdrawal. However, the following should be addressed in a targeted revision as soon as reasonably practicable: Numerous definitions in this section consist of more than one sentence. ASTM Form and Style, E4.4, states: "Complete the definition in one sentence. If two or more phrases are needed to state the meaning, connect them with semicolons. Include any necessary supplementary information as a Discussion." Appropriate corrections need to be made." Revision will be performed to address this comment.
