Rationale

Under the current standard the new field conditions in the industry creates a condition that reduces the exposure on the joint. Due to the short height of these systems, it changes the geometry of the window opening and vents the heat out of the furnace, reducing the furnaces’ ability to maintain the E119 time temperature curve within the specified limits.
