New Test Method for Determine the Degree of Disintegration of Items under Defined In-Field Composting Conditions
1. Scope
This standardized test method will provide a means for determining whether an item successfully disintegrates under defined in-field composting conditions. It is not intended to be a replacement for test methods in the compostability specifications, but instead a means for assessing whether items meeting these requirements also break down in the real world.
