Rationale

Development of revisions to address the following: a) Inclusion of more substantial cross-references to ASTM C270 and C1713 to facilitate better integration with those Specifications; b) Preparation of separate procedures sections for mortars using each type of binder referenced in C270 and C1713 Specifications; c) Review and updating of references in section 2; d) Review and updating of methods for evaluation of in-situ historic masonry, including mortars; and e) Any other issues identified during this cycle of revisions.
