ASTM WK74360
Based on falling costs, consumer-grade CO2 sensors and sensing devices are gaining wide adoption for reporting indoor CO2 concentrations and controlling ventilation systems. Better information is needed with respect to the performance of these sensors so that users can make informed decisions regarding their selection and specification. The primary anticipated users are expected to be IAQ sensor and sensing device manufacturers, smart ventilation system manufacturers, and laboratories. This standard is likely to be referenced in standards and codes that address IAQ in buildings, such as ASHRAE 62.2, ASHRAE 62.1, the International Residential Code, the International Mechanical Code, and California Title 24.
