Rationale

This standard was last approved in 2011 and is currently withdrawn. Compared with the standard that was last approved updates to comply with D18 and newer ASTM requirements have been incorporated. The standard was balloted in subcommittee and main committee (ballot D18 (18-08) item 2 and ballot D18 (1904) item 5) , where several comments were made. These comments have been addressed in this ballot (with the changes indicated in purple and brown respectively).
