This standard would be similar to the existing D7659 guide for sampling of surfaces for metals and metalloids, except that this guide would be for selected organic compounds. A guide of this nature is needed due to increasing emphasis by organizations such as ACGIH on sampling of workplace surfaces for exposure assessment and worker protection.
