Ballot to add new sentence 5.4. D1002 was balloted for reapproval (no technical changes) in 2017. A negative vote was cast, raising the issue of use of tabs or spacers when running the test. A questionnaire providing three options was sent to committee members and several members provided their input on use of spacers. The proposal is to add new sentence 5.4 on use of tabs or spacers.
