Rationale

The method is being revised to allow the use of instrument computer based calculation for the results and to remove section X1.3 Derivation of Equations from the non-mandatory appendix X1. Section X1.3 is no longer necessary due to instrumentation software performing all the necessary calculations and has caused significant confusion to users of the standard.
