ASTM Committee C27 on Precast Concrete was formed in 1972. C27 meets once a year, in December, with about 35 members attending two days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 150 members, has jurisdiction of 24 standards. C27 has 6 technical subcommittees. Information on this subcommittee structure and C27's portfolio of approved standards and Work Items under development are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards and Work Items below. These standards play an important role in the design and specification of precast concrete products. C27 standards are published in Volume 04.05 of the Annual Book of ASTM Standards.
