ASTM Committee E41 on Laboratory Apparatus was formed in 1976. E41 meets twice a year, usually in May and November, with about 10 members attending a one day meeting at ASTM Headquarters. The Committee, with a current membership of approximately 70, has jurisdiction over 79 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 14.04. E41 has 2 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects general laboratory apparatus.
