Committee F30 on Emergency Medical Services was formed in 1984. F30 meets twice a year; in May and October, to develop and update documents relevant for quality emergency medical service. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 95, currently has jurisdiction over 53 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 13.02. F30 has 4 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards.
