ASTM Committee F14 on Fences was formed in 1973. The Committee meets twice a year, in January with the American Fence Association (AFA) at FENCETECH and in again September, with about 30 members attending one day of technical meetings. The Committee, with current membership of 144, currently has jurisdiction of 48 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 01.06. The committee also sponsors the publication of fence standards and fence-related standards in the compilation entitled, ASTM Standards for Fence Materials and Products; 13th Edition.
