Staff Manager: Jamie Huffnagle

ASTM Committee D08 on Roofing and Waterproofing was formed in 1905. D08 meets twice a year in June and December, with approximately 100 members attending three days of technical meetings. The Committee, with 614 members, currently has jurisdiction over 180 standard test methods, specifications, guides, and practices for roofing and waterproofing materials, products, and systems largely composed of organic materials such as asphalt, coal-tar, polymer modifiers, rubbers, and plastics. This includes allied materials, products and application equipment used in the roofing and waterproofing industries. D08 has 14 technical subcommittees. The portfolio of approved standards and Work Items under development are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards and Work Items below. Symposia are usually conducted in four-year intervals. Interested parties are invited to attend all meetings and symposia. D08 standards are published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 04.04. More
