ASTM Committee E43 on SI Practice was formed in 1977. The Committee, with a current membership of 28, serves in an advisory capacity to the IEEE/ASTM Joint Committee on SI - 10. This standard has replaced the previous ASTM E 380 on SI Practice and is now recognized by ANSI as an American National Standard. Committee E43 is also a resource to all other ASTM Technical Committees on SI issues.
