Committee E35 on Pesticides, Antimicrobials, and Alternative Control Agents

Staff Manager: Brian Milewski

ASTM Committee E35 on Pesticides, Antimicrobials, and Alternative Control Agents was formed in 1973. E35 meets twice a year, usually in April and October, with approximately 100 members attending four days of technical meetings. The October meeting includes an annual symposium on relevant topics in pesticide formulations and application systems, which is attended by over 200 worldwide representatives from industry, academia, and government. The Committee, with a membership of 292 currently has 5 technical subcommittees that have jurisdiction of 104 standards, published in the Annual book of ASTM Standards, Volume 11.05. Information on their subcommittee structure, and portfolio of approved standards and Work Items under development, are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards and Work Items below. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to efficacy, safety, quality, and impact in appropriate environments of pesticides, antiseptic and antimicrobial agents, biological agents, devices, and equipment.
